How DisrepairIQ, operated by RESOLVEMYDISPUTE LIMITED (Company No. 15182581), processes personal data. This policy is published publicly and applies alongside the firm-level Trust & Compliance due-diligence pack. Last updated: June 2026.
The instructing firm is the data controller for client and tenant information it enters into the platform. RESOLVEMYDISPUTE LIMITED is a data processor, processing that information solely to provide the platform on the firm's documented instructions.
For firm user data (accounts, billing, usage), RESOLVEMYDISPUTE LIMITED acts as controller. Processing is governed by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Lawful basis: the firm's basis (typically legal obligation and/or contract) for client data; contract and legitimate interests for firm user and account data.
We rely on cloud hosting (UK/EEA), enterprise AI APIs (engaged on terms that prohibit use of customer data for model training), and a transactional email service. A current, named sub-processor list is provided with the DPA and on the Trust & Compliance page.
Data is transmitted over TLS 1.3 and stored encrypted at rest. Access is role-based with per-user and per-firm row-level security. Further detail is on the security page.
Data subject requests in respect of client information are handled by the instructing firm as controller; we assist firms in fulfilling them within statutory timeframes. Firm users may exercise their rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by contacting us below.
Reminder: DisrepairIQ is a legal-technology tool, not a law firm. All AI-generated outputs are drafts requiring independent verification by a qualified solicitor before use.
